    Kaplan College’s Frederick Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 75 Students



    FREDERICK, Md. , Oct. 25, 2008

    —The Kaplan College, Frederick campus will host a graduation ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 25, for 75 students.  The ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m., at Tuscarora High School at 5312 Ballenger Creek Pike, Frederick, Md. 

     

    Students will be recognized for earning certificates in the dental assistant or medical assistant programs.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state.  According to the Maryland Occupational Projections, a report by the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation department, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 38.6 percent and dental assistant positions by 27.8 percent from 2006 to 2016.

     

    Kaplan College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).  ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
