PHOENIX, Nov. 13, 2008—The Kaplan College Phoenix campus has announced the appointment of Shelley Donati as the school's new executive director.
“We have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Shelley in the Western Region this year as one of our directors of retention,” said John Kolacinski, regional vice president of operations, western region. “We are confident that she will finish the year strong and excel in her new position.”
Donati has more than 10 years of experience in educational leadership positions. Most recently, she was the group director of retention of the west group for Kaplan Higher Education. Prior to that, Donati was the campus president of for two years and dean of educational programs for three years at Helad College. She has been helping others with educational opportunities for the past 10 years starting with her program, Looking for Words, in Hollister, Calif. for two years. Donati owned and operated the program to service children aged pre-school to high school for two years offering enrichment courses in foreign language acquisition, arts and sciences for students to grow to new academic levels.
The Southeastern Career Institute Midland campus is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
