Kaplan College’s Riverside Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 231 Students Wednesday
First Graduation Ceremony Since Name Change
RIVERSIDE, Calif., Nov. 19, 2008—The Kaplan College Riverside campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 19, for 231 students. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium at 3485 Mission Inn Ave, Riverside, Calif. This ceremony will mark the first class graduating under the Kaplan College name.
Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in one of four programs in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Statewide California Occupational Projections, Labor Market Information Division, State of California Employment Development Department, pharmacy technician positions are expected to increase by 36.1 percent, massage therapy positions by 25.6 percent and medical assistant positions by 30.8 percent from 2006 to 2016.
“Today is a day of celebration for Kaplan College graduates,” said Dennis Manzo, president of Kaplan College’s Riverside campus. “It is also an acknowledgement of everything our students have sacrificed and accomplished during the past few months. I am excited to celebrate the achievements of our new graduates with their families today.”
The Kaplan College Riverside campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
