LUBBOCK, Texas, October, 17, 2008—Texas Careers’ Lubbock campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Friday, October 17, for 209 students. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the City Bank Auditorium at 1501 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock.
Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in one of five programs in the professional or allied health fields. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the Texas Statewide Occupational Projection, a report by Texas Labor Market Information, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 58.5 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Texas Careers’ Lubbock campus is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
