2011 2010 2009 2008 2007 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000	Kaplan College’s San Diego Campus to Host Graduation Ceremonies for 266 Students Friday   SAN DIEGO, Calif., Feb. 6, 2009—Kaplan College, San Diego campus, will hold two graduation ceremonies Friday, Feb. 6, for 266 students.  The ceremonies will take place at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Joan B. Kroc Theatre at 6611 University Avenue in San Diego.     Students will be recognized for earning associate’s degrees or certificates in one of seven programs in the legal studies and allied health fields.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Statewide California Occupational Projections, Labor Market Information Division, State of California Employment Development Department, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 35.7 percent and licensed vocational nursing positions by 17.5 percent from 2006 to 2016.    “Graduation is a day of accomplishment and reflection for our students,” said Michael Seifert, president of Kaplan College’s San Diego campus.  “We know our students have overcome many obstacles to achieve their educational goals. They will now take their place within the workforce and become future leaders within their chosen field of study.
