Kaplan University’s Lincoln Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 120 Students Sunday
Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler to Keynote Ceremony
Lincoln, Neb., Oct. 25, 2009—Kaplan University’s Lincoln campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 25, for 120 students. The ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Pershing Center, 226 Centennial Mall South, Lincoln, Neb. Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler will keynote the ceremony.
The Lincoln-based school will recognize students for earning a bachelor’s degree, associate degree, diploma or certificate in one of 15 programs in the fields of allied health, arts and sciences, business, criminal justice, information technology, legal or nursing. According to the most recent Nebraska Long-Term Occupation Projections, Nebraska Department of Labor, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 44.4 percent from 2006 to 2016.
