San Antonio College of Medical and Dental Asisstants Changes Name to Kaplan College

    Campus Celebrates 25th Anniversary

MCALLEN, Texas, Nov. 9, 2009—More than 850 Texas college students will have a new name on their college diplomas: Kaplan College.  As part of a broader rebranding strategy, Kaplan Higher Education has renamed its San Antonio College of Medical and Dental Assitants campus as Kaplan College.

“We are proud to extend the Kaplan name to this campus,” said Beth Hollenberg, chief operating officer of Kaplan Higher Education Campuses.  “Texas is an important market for us, and we are committed to offering educational opportunities in some of the most in-demand employment fields in the state.”

A ceremony will be held to celebrate the renaming and 25th anniversary in January of 2010.  Highlights will include a ribbon cutting or sign reveal and remarks from the campus executives, Kaplan Higher Education executives and local government officials.
