    Southeastern Career Institute’s Dallas Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 108 Students Thursday

    DALLAS, June 25, 2009—The Southeastern Career Institute Dallas campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 25, for 108 students.  The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Richardson Civic Center at 411 West Arapaho Road Suite 102, Richardson, Texas.  Z. L. Williams Sr., partner and chief executive officer of Harvard Financial Group, will keynote the ceremony.

     

    The Dallas-based school will recognize students for earning either diplomas or certificates in one of five programs in the allied health or legal studies fields.  Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.  According to Occupational Wages and Projections, a report by the Texas Workforce Commission, Labor Market Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 58.3 percent, pharmacy technician positions by 44.4 percent and dental assistant positions by 33.3 percent from 2006 to 2016. 

     

    “In order to reach this level of education, our graduates have made significant sacrifices and have turned their dreams into a reality,” said Michelle Taylor, executive director of Southeastern Career Institute’s Dallas campus.  “We wish them great success wherever their paths may lead.”
