KAPLAN UNIVERSITY’S COUNCIL BLUFFS CAMPUS TO HOST
GRADUATION CEREMONY SUNDAY
Ceremony to Recognize 71 Students
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa, Oct. 10 2010— Kaplan University’s Council Bluffs campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Sunday, October 10, for 71 students. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. at the Iowa School for the Deaf – Lied Center at 3501 Harry Langdon Blvd.
The Council Bluffs-based school will recognize students for earning bachelor’s and associate degrees in fields including allied health, business, criminal justice, information technology and interdisciplinary studies. Upon graduating, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.
According to the Occupational Projections, a report by the Iowa Department of Workforce Development, Research and Analysis Division, computer support specialist positions are expected to increase by 14 percent and medical assistant positions by 29 percent between 2008 and 2018.
Kaplan University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). The HLC is listed as a regionally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
