TEXAS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS’ SOUTHWEST CAMPUS HOSTS GRADUATION FRIDAY
Ceremony to Recognize 104 Students
HOUSTON, May 19, 2011 – The Texas School of Business’ Southwest campus will hold a graduation on Friday, May 20, for 104 students. The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. at the Stafford Civic Center, 1415 Constitution Avenue, Stafford, TX.
The Houston-based campus will recognize students for earning a diploma in an allied health or information technology field. Upon graduating, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.
“I commend our students for their hard work and dedication to furthering their education,” Billy Leonard, executive director of Texas School of Business’ Southwest campus, said. “They’ve shown great commitment not only to the school, but to themselves and to their families. I look forward to their success in the future.”
According to the Texas Occupational Projections, a report by the Texas Workforce Commission, medical assistant positions will increase by 35 percent, dental assistant positions will increase by 34.2 percent and computer support specialist positions will increase by 14.7 percent between 2008 and 2018.
Texas School of Business Southwest is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
