TESST COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY’S BALTIMORE CAMPUS

    HOSTS GRADUATION CEREMONY

    Ceremony to Recognize 199 Students

BALTIMORE, January 19, 2011— TESST College of Technology’s Baltimore campus will hold a graduation ceremony today for 199 students.  The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. at Coppin State University, 2500 W. North Ave.

The Baltimore-based school will recognize students for earning an associate degree or certificate in one of three fields including allied health, information technology or trades. Upon graduating, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study.

“Our graduates have achieved an important credential by securing a college education,” Jake Elsen, president of the Baltimore campus, said. “They worked hard to attain skills in their chosen fields, and they are now prepared to meet employment needs in the community.”

According to the Maryland Occupational Projections, a report by the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, computer specialist positions will increase by 20 percent and medical assistant positions by 24 percent between 2008 and 2018.

TESST College of Technology in Baltimore is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).  The ACCSC is listed as a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
