KAPLAN COLLEGE CORPUS CHRISTI HOSTS GRADUATION SATURDAY
Ceremony to Recognize 258 Students
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, October 27, 2011— Kaplan College Corpus Christi will hold a graduation on Saturday, Oct. 29, for 258 students. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the Richard Borchard Fairground, 1213 Terry Shamsie Blvd., Robstown, TX.
The Corpus Christi-based campus will recognize students for earning an associate degree in medical practice management or a diploma in dental assistant, medical assistant, medical office specialist, patient care assistant technician or vocational nursing.
“All our graduates chose a program in the allied health or nursing field where they will be helping others and by choosing to further their education, they also helped themselves,” Jeriann Hix, president of Kaplan College Corpus Christi, said. “They are now better equipped to succeed in the workplace and we look forward to watching them thrive and contribute to the community.”
According to the Texas Occupational Projections, a report by the Texas Workforce Commission, medical assistant positions will increase by 35 percent and dental assistant positions will increase by 34 percent between 2008 and 2018.
Kaplan College Corpus Christi is accredited by is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The ACCSC is listed as a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
