Our legal programs such as Paralegal and Criminal Justice provide students with an in-depth knowledge of criminal justice with emphasis in the areas of corrections, probation and parole, juvenile delinquency, criminal behavior, crime and loss prevention, corporate security, and law enforcement. The program also prepares students with the aspects of criminal behavior, legal theory, and law enforcement procedures enabling graduates to go on to pursue careers in law enforcement, investigation, and security.
Graduates of the Criminal Justice program may seek employment in corrections, crime and loss prevention, law enforcement, and other areas. Graduates working in corrections may monitor inmates, assist parolees in re-entering society, or do counseling work to rehabilitate troubled youth or prison inmates. Graduates may be employed in loss prevention positions with many private industries, including working in special units implementing systems to guard against theft and system abuse, to protect confidential information and property, etc. |
